PALADIN KNIGHTS/OHIO VETERANS HOME

On December 1, 2007, the Paladin Knights, which I recently joined, had a Christmas pizza party for the veterans living at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, Ohio.

Paladin Knights just before the pizza party. This fine organization takes a "hands on" approach to helping needy veterans. They just don't talk about it, they do it themselves! I'm so proud to be a new member. That's the back of Mr. Tim "Doc" Anderson (right foreground) who has been so supportive of my songs. Thanks Doc!

I was so touched by the social graces displayed by these youngsters--Paladin Squires--who visited with all the veterans and helped out with the pizza distribution and raffle. Their parents should be very proud of these fine young people!

World War II veteran happy to be remembered and visited.

My new friend Paul, World War II Air Force veteran from Shaker Hts., Ohio. What a character! A feisty 87 year old, Paul is convinced he'll make it to 100 if he just keeps riding his bike. I wouldn't bet against him. Then again, he is equally sure the Air Force won the war!!!!
